I recently had the opportunity to travel from Portland, Oregon, to photograph a wedding at this beautiful venue. It was one of the most organized and well-thought-out venues I’ve had the pleasure of working at. Everything flowed seamlessly, making the day enjoyable for everyone involved. The food was delicious, and the overall experience left a lasting impression.

From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a gem. The ceremony space is perfectly situated for natural light, and the views of Staunton State Park and the iconic Lions Head rock make for stunning backdrops. The reception hall offers breathtaking views of the valley, and the nearby mountain provides a picturesque setting for family photos and first look moments. The morning light creates an ideal atmosphere for capturing timeless, memorable photos.

For any couple looking for a venue that combines beautiful scenery, including Staunton State Park and Lions Head rock, with a well-organized setup, I highly recommend this location. As a wedding photographer, it’s always a pleasure to work in a place that enhances the beauty of the day and allows for unforgettable images.

We got married here on 9-27-24! I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Mountain View. Denise was our day of coordinator and did an amazing job. Becca was the banquet captain and was extremely friendly and attentive. So many guests raved about the location and the food. Everything was perfect, thank you MVR!!

My daughter and son-in-law were married at Wedgewood on Boulder Creek November 2024. My heartfelt thanks to the staff for running a totally professional event! We lucked out on the weather, but plan B for inside wedding (125 guests) was in place. Helpful tours and rehearsal before the wedding. On wedding day, everything--chairs, flowers, cake, bar set up, dinner tables, etc.--was in place and ready to go on time. Snacks after the wedding were delicious, as was plated dinner delivered to the tables. Wedgewood staff were gracious and accommodating, and the venue--out door wedding, indoor dinner and dancing--were fantastic. High recommendations from this happy dad! HK

Wedgewood Weddings has been an absolute delight to work with thus far! They have made the wedding planning process so easy and have made my fiance and I feel special! They mailed us a wedding planning binder and went over it with us step by step and layed out detailed timelines of when certain vendors need to be booked. When we went to tour, they had our names printed out on a sign welcoming us! With champagne and beverages! We felt so special! Wedgewood weddings has made the planning process for a wedding fun and exciting! Can't wait to see what more is in store for us!

We had our wedding here in Oct. and it was the most beautiful setting we could have asked for! The location is perfect if you're looking for a close mountain setting and in the fall the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. All of the staff were wonderful to work with during the planning process and always very quick to respond to any emails I sent with questions. Maria was our day-of coordinator and I can't say enough how amazing she was and made sure we were well taken care of, even thought of bringing me hot tea while we were taking photos outside when it started getting a little chilly. The food was delicious, we had lots of compliments from our guests on that. It is great that you can also customize they're packages so you can add things that aren't included if you want. And definitely take advantage of the Invitations by Wedgewood credit they give you. We got all of our save the date and thank you cards for free with the credit as part of our package and that was a nice perk and good quality items as well!

We had the most amazing time working with Wedgewood Weddings. We got married at Creekside and seriously had our DREAM wedding and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Every person we interacted with through the whole planning process was so upfront & kind. We really felt like they cared about us the entire time, and listened to every little detail we wanted for our wedding.

On the day of the wedding, Wedgewood made us feel like the most special people in the world. It was so incredible watching our vision come to life. Our wedding coordinator, Claire, was so sweet and she was always right there when we needed anything or had any questions. We worked alongside Denise and Cassie for the later half of our wedding and they made sure everything was running smoothly. The bar staff was incredible to work with too, I feel so bad that I cannot remember their names off hand but whoever was working that night was so lovely.

Our DJ was DJ Marco, and he was amazing! He was such a nice, easy person to get along with and everyone said the music was just perfect all night long. We went with their recommended cake vendor, Azucar Bakery, and everyone was raving about how delicious the cake was all night. We had the premier package which included everything we could have wanted. And the food was just INCREDIBLE- it’s amazing how much variety you are able to have! Everyone loved the food and was definitely well fed!

We highly recommend Mountain View Ranch for your wedding. For one this venue is absolutely stunning, but Wedgewood just does an amazing job at making sure your day is exactly how you vision it and they are there for you every step of the way. They even went as far as leaving handwritten letters and a framed picture from our ceremony on our head table that we got to enjoy while we ate dinner. Thank you everyone who helped us along the way to make this the best day of our entire lives! It was so beautiful and we just cannot get over how perfect our wedding night went.

Pros: gorgeous, easy to get to mountain location. Nice size-not huge, not too small. Great for our forty-ish people. Food was great, open bar was well stocked. Bartender knew what a Roy Rogers was.

Cons: They need to spray for mosquitos. Some accessibility issues if you're not very mobile, although they do have a golf cart to assist you. Ladies, I do not advise strappy sandals up there. Lots of gravel to walk through.

The Mountain View Ranch team was amazing - I highly recommend booking your wedding here. Our wedding was flawless from start to finish and everyone was extremely professional all night! I'm still getting compliments from my guests on how amazing everything was from the location, to the food to the general atmosphere. Throughout the entire process they were so helpful and responsive! However, it wasn't until I arrived at the rehearsal (in pouring rain and snow) that I truly appreciated them. I was upset and frazzled, and my coordinators immediately jumped in, reassured me of everything, and started making plans in case of rain the next day. They were confident in all of their directions as we practiced walking down and answered all questions. I left the rehearsal totally calm and reassured that that whatever happened, the Wedgewood team had it covered. And they did - our ceremony and reception went absolutely flawlessly. Neither of us were stressed that day and we could totally enjoy our wedding. Not a beat was missed and every detail was in the exact right place! Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would, and the Wedgewood team made it possible! We can't thank you enough!
