Dr. Lilly is incredible! She teaches college level voice classes, as well as private voice lessons, and I've been lucky enough to have been able to participate in both. She's traveled the world singing opera and different styles, and knows how to sing in a plethora of languages. She's been cast in some of the most amazing shows and operas. This woman really knows voice and vocal technique.
When it comes to stylizing, Dr. Lilly allows her students to keep their own vocal identity, while teaching her own specialized techniques. She teaches all ages and styles, from rock to Arabic to opera to musical theater to jazz and beyond.
Personally, I needed to work on breathing and tongue placement. Singing with improper technique for almost a decade had me completely out of shape vocally. With her, I was able to work on breathing, as well as placement and vowels.
When you find a good voice teacher, you hold on to them. And she is one of the best!
