It was nice and clean, the exhibits were fun, and staff was very helpful. I loved the bathroom bc it had interesting facts about inventors. My favorite exhibit was the Rube Goldberg room where you could interact with contraptions & move pieces around so that a ball could continually roll while do things like chime a bell. It's best for children since there are a lot of activities for them there. I was, also, able to get a wheelchair for my Mother so she could enjoy it. Loved it.

Nice time had by all - something inside for all ages...the older ones can participate in a scavenger hunt of information which was engaging for my 9 y/o (especially because it offers the incentive of 10% off an item in their gift shop). It was a nice mix of sensory engagement as well as verbal/visual learning throughout the day.

I was expecting this museum to be for children and decided to just peek in on a hot summer day after talking 2 miles. Found out that it was free admission for the day. We explored the museum which had tons of interactive exhibits “for kids” that we were probably enjoying more than them. A section dedicated to the creation of Gatorade. A section on Tom Petty, who was born in Gainesville. A section on water / fluid dynamics. A section on those long marble courses that you make which was tons of fun. The worker made sure to emphasize it “is not a kids museum.” I would definitely recommend to stop by as it has the learning material and the interactive elements to keep you interested. Also, many of the workers are UF students interested in what they’re talking about.

What a spectacular museum for the whole family! So many interactive exhibits for curious, creative minds and jam packed with activities for all ages. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and will most certainly be visiting again ?

I just had a quick whirlwind tour of the place - but I loved it! Definitely one of the best museums I’ve been to. The helpfulness of the staff, the variety and detail of the displays, and the vision behind this whole place are truly remarkable! There is plenty to do for children, but so much to appeal to adults as well. A great family activity and learning experience! I will definitely be back to the Cade Museum next time I’m in Florida, and will plan to spend the day!

The Cade Museum is a treasure. We took our 5 year old granddaughter to a "Little Sparks" program the other day. WOW! A half dozen young adults totally enraptured the dozen or so children for over an hour with games, crafts, and some real science education on rainbows. Affordable and great fun.
