This place for all the classic Hollywood geeks. Not only is the building Cecil B. DeMille's old office/barn, but it is filled with quintessential Hollywood memorabilia. They constantly have new exhibits, and offer unique events. I had the pleasure of attending a Q&A with Russ Tamblyn. Admission is very reasonable and are the prices for their events.

Fabulous place. This particular museum features archival photographs from the silent movie days of motion picture production, movie props, historic documents and other movie related memorabilia and more. It’s one of the oldest building in Hollywood (1913) and get this, they turned it into a Hollywood studio museum. Plus it’s right near the infamous Hollywood Bowl.

Wonderful exhibition of Hollywood's early film evolution including the landmarked structure itself. Many more rotating exhibits, special events, speakers and an excellent bookshop for one of a kind gifts & mementos.

Very interesting if your into old films and the history of the movies in LA. Staff were very welcoming and gave a mini overview tour before leaving me to explore. Only ten minutes walk from Hollywood / Highland metro station.
