We hired San Diego Sound and Lighting to handle the stage, sound, lighting and video projection for a live music concert. They absolutely nailed it! It was very easy, convenient and productive to work with them through email. Charlie always got back to me quickly with detailed answers to my questions. The sound was crisp and clear, the lighting created the perfect atmosphere and the video projection added an extra layer of excitement for the audience. Their on-site AV team was professional, organized and efficient from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly and the concert was a massive success. I highly recommend them for any event production needs!

I contacted Charlie Walkrich three months before my daughter’s wedding, September 2024. I was in search of a creative lighting company. We were hosting 110 guests at a venue in Temecula, Ca. The reception would be held in a large indoor- outdoor pavilion, which had natural light, but very little additional lighting. From the onset Charlie was very thoughtful and professional, answering all my emails promptly. He was very good at keeping me on a time schedule for decision making. Together we created a vision for the evening dinner and reception lighting . We used up-lighting for the draped areas that wrapped around the entire pavilion, and for the faux white cherry blossom trees that I brought in. He suggested a different, interactive lighting for the dance floor, that changed the mood and energy when the dancing started! We developed a custom signature GOBO that highlighted the couple’s married name. We decided on magenta lighting for the white draping, which tied in beautifully with the pastel and white florals. For the cake table he chose a spot light, illuminating the cake from above, in soft pastel colors. My vision and mission statement for the wedding was “ beautiful simple elegance, with a touch of whimsy”, and Charlie just knocked it out of the park!
It was spectacular! Charlie, he himself , stayed for the whole night to ensure there would be no problems with the electrical equipment. The week before the wedding we reviewed every detail of the event, and we were able to put our minds at rest that all would be well! Charlie Walkrich and his company is “Top Class”, and I would highly recommend him!

Charlie and his team were outstanding to work with from start to finish. They provided high quality communication, great collaboration ability and they handled everything I needed seamlessly. The event was considerably enhanced from their efforts and had extra equipment to handle any issues that could've possibly arisen on the day of the event. One of the best things about hiring Charlie was his communication! He was always quick to respond and answered any questions we had. He also provided us with a mock timeline to help us plan our wedding day. He gave us advice/feedback on our song choices which we found helpful. Hiring Charlie was a great decision for us because he came well prepared and did an amazing job with the music and our announcements. We ended up changing our timeline towards the end of our wedding and he was very flexible and accommodating. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with!

We hired San Diego Sound & Lighting to provide us with a daytime wedding DJ for our wedding celebration. The first thing to know is that Charlie is as responsive a vendor as we had. Worked excellently through email the entire time and always got back to us with questions answered immediately. The second thing to note is he really knew what he was doing! All the pre-work we did he incorporated into our wedding plan and he provided us with an amazing DJ to work our day (thanks Novak!!) which went off without a hitch. We truly had a wonderful day and would absolutely recommend Charlie and San Diego Sound & Lighting!
