Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, CT, is a charming and intimate venue that offers a fantastic concert experience. Nestled within the city, this little stadium has a vibe that’s both cozy and vibrant—perfect for a night out enjoying live music. We had the pleasure of catching two incredible shows here: Blues Traveler & Big Head Todd one night, followed by Vertical Horizon, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Gin Blossoms the next. Each performance was stellar, with the venue’s acoustics and atmosphere amplifying the experience.

Originally known as the Yale Bowl's Tennis Center, the venue was repurposed and rebranded into the Westville Music Bowl, transforming the former tennis courts into a dynamic outdoor concert space. Its relatively recent history as a music venue has quickly made it a favorite spot for both artists and concert-goers, blending its historical roots with a new wave of cultural significance in New Haven.

The seating layout is excellent, providing good views no matter where you sit, and the overall setup makes for an enjoyable, stress-free concert experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, enhancing the positive vibes that permeated the entire venue.

For anyone looking to catch a live show in New Haven, Westville Music Bowl should definitely be on your list. It’s a gem of a venue that offers both quality performances and a great atmosphere—highly recommended!

Went here to see The Avett Brothers and Sierra Farrell. What an amazing venue. Everything is kept on time and tidy. Good amount of space even in the pit. Lots of offerings throughout the year. Would definitely be back!

This is a great venue! Saw the Stick Figure show in July and every was awesome. Easy in and out. Lots of food and drink options that are always close no matter where you sit. Bathrooms were kept clean and there are enough so it's not super crowded. Overall a great experience and there isn't a bad seat in the place.

A tennis open air bowl that also serves as a music venue. The sound was great, and food and drink are on many levels as well as bathrooms. We sat high up in the 400's and you could see everything and hear every word. Parking was a bit of a mixed bag on a rainy day once you're parking in an open grass field, but no major issues. Recommended!

Great venue! Went to see Death Cab and Postal Service and it was a 6pm start time which is fantastic as well. Very easy to get to for the most part and pretty stress free to get a drink and just go sit down (too old for GA).

Nice smaller venue. Used to be the old pro tennis courts. Sound was good but not great. Don't think you can really have a bad seat. I enjoy smaller venues and this one was nice. On the other hand..........

Parking was very poor. Parking lots are about a mile away & run by Laz, charged $25. to park a mile away. Then they used small transport vans, after the show they were nowhere to be seen, We walked all the way back to the lot with the rest of the herd. Really not happy with the parking.

What a great venue. We had seats last row of section 210. The seats were good even though we were the last row of that section, which turned out to be very convenient for the bar and restrooms. I did not get up to the balcony so I could not say how those seats were. Any seats on the floor or the loge section would be good seats for a concert.
The sound and the lighting were really good as well.
They had plenty of bars so getting drinks was fairly easy. They are priced as you would expect for a concert venue. They did have food available though it was a limited variety.
Access In and out was very easy.
